Carlota Bravo is a Tenerife-born film editor, director and producer. She graduated with honours in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from Carlos III University in Madrid and later received a scholarship to study at the University of California, Berkeley, where she developed work in documentary, fiction, and experimental filmmaking.
She is currently active as a film editor and executive producer, working across documentary and fiction projects in Spain and California. Her recent credits include editing Beber para no olvidar, selected at the 28th Málaga Film Festival, and collaborating with editor Ariadna Ribas on Anoche conquisté Tebas, selected at the Giornata degli Autori 82nd Venice Biennale.
Since 2025, she works as an executive producer at a Spain-based fantasy and sci-fi production company, and was selected for CIMA and Netflix Spain’s 1to1 Editing Mentoring Program. She is also a member of the Spanish Association of Audiovisual Editors (AMAE).
