Carlota Bravo is a Tenerife-born film editor, director and producer. She graduated with honours in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from Carlos III University in Madrid and she holds a Professional Degree in Classical Piano.
In 2021 she received a scholarship to study at the University of Berkeley, California, where she developed work in documentary, fiction and experimental filmmaking. After working as an audiovisual journalist at Agenica EFE, she specializes in film editing, working and learning alongside renowned filmmakers such as Emma Tussel, Ariadna Ribas, Nicolás Pereda or Tylor Norwood.
She was recently awarded the prestigious fellowship of La Caixa to pursue a Master in Filmmaking in London. She is currently active as an executive producer for an independent production house in Tenerife, while she writes her first feature film at Torino Film Lab Next 2026 and continues editing fiction and non-fiction projects.
In 2025 she was also selected in the 1to1 Mentoring Program, supported by CIMA (Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media Professionals) and Netflix Spain. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Spanish Association of Audiovisual Editors (AMAE).
